I began my career as an environment artist in games, working across concept art, 3D, and VFX. Painting environments has been a constant since, now less to design imaginary landscapes and more as a way of recording my own life. 

I’ve been a National Park Artist in Residence at Great Smoky Mountains and Big Bend, and in Santa Fe I collaborate with a park ranger on free interpretive painting programs in local open spaces. That background in environment and illustration still shapes a lot about how I approach my work.
